We stayed at Proteas Blu Resort for a week in August. We had booked a bungalow with a sea view. At first we were a little disappointed that we were accommodated on the ground floor. But it turned out to be very good, as it was always very cool in the room. The room was very simple but very nice and modern. However, we were very disappointed with the bathroom. An absolute no-go for a 5 star hotel! The fittings were calcified and the garbage can not clean. In addition, the faucet was calcified inside, which is why the water did not come out in one jet, but in about 3 jets, which was not pleasant.

The location of the hotel is an absolute dream. The hotel complex is divided into different "floors". At the top is the main building where breakfast and dinner take place. The view of the sea is breathtaking. The buffet is very diverse and you eat really well! For breakfast there are always fresh waffles, crepes and pancakes. For dinner there is always a freshly prepared dish in addition to the buffet.
The pool bar / restaurant is right by the pool. There are delicious snacks in between. Our favorite: Samian Ntakos! We were a bit surprised by the prices; more expensive than we thought.
The hotel has a private beach. The sea is crystal clear and beautiful! We enjoyed it to the fullest!
There is also a fitness room, which we found much too small and it was only open until 7 p.m. On the other hand, a little match on the tennis court was a lot of fun. (no extra costs)
The hotel is a bit isolated. There are no shops or other restaurants near the hotel. The next are about 30 minutes on foot. With the taxi (12 euros there and back) you are in about 10 minutes in Phythagorion.
If you are looking for a hotel with VERY good food and a beautiful beach with lots of peace and quiet (free deck chairs, umbrellas, fresh beach towels every day and direct service on the beach), you will definitely be happy here.
