I have been taking my two dogs to Canine Spa for both boarding and grooming for at least two years. Up until now I have been pleased. My dogs are on prescription food for chronic pancreatitis for which I pay big bucks. The last time i took my dogs for boarding for four days of course I took both dry and wet prescription food. When I picked them up I went home with three of the four cans and essentially all of the dry food I took in. Subsequently, since they were not fed the prescription food that I supplied they had bloody diarrhea all over my house and patio. I will have to have all my carpets cleaned as a result. I called the manager to alert her to this and she said she would find out why my dogs weren't fed their prescription food and get back to me. It has been a week and I have heard nothing. They advertise caring for special needs dogs. If you have a special needs dog I would advise taking them somewhere else. The fact that the manager never called me back told me all I need to know.
Update: when I saw the response I called Michelle immediately. She explained she had let the person go who didn t feed my dogs properly and apologized. That s all I wanted to hear. This has been a great place for my dogs and I missed using them. I will call them to keep my dogs anytime now. Employers have to be responsible for their employees and Michelle did all she could do.
