Disappointing really, the restaurant staff were nice and friendly, but, the bar staff were horrendous, actually made you feel unwelcome (unless you tipped of course) I went to the main bar and got served by people who turned up after me because I didn't have any dollars in my hand, the next time I took a dollar bill with me to the bar, and got a very different experience. Its an all inclusive resort, my view is if you do an exceptional job and service, then you would receive your tip. I didn't get this, the staff saw it as an expectation and an insult if you didn't. Also if you decide to go here, don't bother with the preferred club, we still got served the same drinks and could go to the same places so its a scam apart from you get a slightly nicer room to stay in. Definitely wouldn't go back here, previously stayed in the Iberostar Dominican Republic and that was levels above this resort.
