The Pink Pig is a nice little spot off the beaten path of HWY 76 in Cherry Log (between Ellijay and Blue Ridge). When you first walk in, the place has a bit of a country store feel to it as they sell assorted trinkets, souvenirs, and scoops of ice cream behind the counter.

Beware that while the dining space is small, there is rarely a wait (I've never experience one anyway). The waitstaff are friendly and make you feel right at home. The brisket is lean and flavorful, especially when combined with the vinegar BBQ sauce that they make. My family of four had the brisket plate, and three portions of the sliders which included both brisket and the pork and none of them disappointed. The only thing I didn't care for, honestly, was the baked beans. Both of my kids had the macaroni and cheese and loved it and my wife didn't complain about the cole slaw either.

Our tab was around $55 and that included 4 entrees + 4 drinks + 2 desserts (still can't get either kid to try the cobbler), so everything was reasonably priced. Needless to say, we look forward to being back the next time we're in town.
