I am very alarmed that I can call the nurses station at any given time through out the day and I can rarely ever get to speak to anyone in Unit 1A. This makes no sense to me you have several nurses on hand 24 hours and it is ridiculous that the phone just continuously rings. I understand if they are doing rounds with patients, but not one person is there to answer the phone. I called this morning and was transferred over 8 times and the phone just rang between 6:00 am - 7:15 am and finally security walked over. They were all standing around talking listening to the phone ring. That is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
