I went to this car dealership last week. I was interested in leasing a rogue sport. The car I wanted wasn t on the lot and They had to order it. I gave them a check for $500 to put down a deposit on the car. The deal that we were working on didn t sit right with me. I was being charged almost $3,000 more than what their web site was offering. 2 hours after I left I sent my sales lady 2 emails telling her not to deposit my check until I see the car. Also at this point I haven t seen the sticker price yet and something was telling me that they were going to cash my check. I called my bank the next morning and put a stop on that check. I have called and left a message for Mr. Sansone a few days ago, but he hasn t returned my call yet. I have copies of the texts and emails that I sent the saleswoman telling her that I changed my mind about the car and to send me my check back. Wouldn t you know that in my mail today was a letter from my bank telling me that they tried to cash it. They must have ran it to the bank! So if I didn t stop payment I would be out $500 instead of a $30 stop payment fee. This is unacceptable. Also, when I went to put the deposit on my credit card, I was told there was a 3% fee on all transactions. You can dispute a charge on your credit card, and from what I experienced there, I now see why they want checks. People,
