I have been doing my hair with Elena for 15 years....

I have been doing my hair with Elena for 15 years. She has always been kind, efficient & loving. BUT...since this whole Covid experience, I have to share how wonderful this woman really is. First of all, she met me today at 6:30 am so we could be alone in the salon...on her day off!
She wears a mask & gloves, obviously...brings the gown, takes me to my own private room, does my hair & when my time is up has the girl shampooing come to get me. So, I never walk around the salon on my own, I am fully taken care of and her safety measures go above & beyond as does her love & care for her clients. Another one of her clients came in after me, we never even saw each other bc Elena kept us safely distant from each other so we all feel safe. Avant Garde, like so many other businesses here in Miami is honestly taking all measures to insure our safety.
Things I saw...plexiglass at the manicure stations, shower curtains separating the shampooing sinks, tape on all products & nail polishes so clients arent randomly touching everything & a house keeper cleaning up all the stations. Grateful, bc let s be honest, our hair & nails & those little things we do to help us feel beautiful & groomed and healthy are IMPORTANT! & after 4 months of trying to do my own color & all of these years taking the salons & little things we do for granted...sitting in that room with Elena today at 6:30 am...was absolutely priceless.
