I love the great Google products and apps coming out of this amazing place in CA but I have to give you a 0 when it comes to customer service.
I ordered a Google hub and 2 minis during the Black Friday sale 23 Nov and then on the 25 I get an email saying order was cancelled due suspicious activity. ( You could have placed the order on hold and contact me to verify authenticity but you didn't).
I immediately replied to the "email us" address saying order was authentic and awaiting confirmation.
Nothing heard.
27 Nov I resend email with follow-up message.
Nothing heard.
29 Nov I send second follow-up.
Nothing heard.
6 Dec. I send email via website online form.
Maybe your next app should be "Customer Service" orientated.
Very very disappointing from a company that supposedly thrives on communication.
And by the way, I purchase 3 Amazon Echo devices from Amazon, so it looks like Alexa 1 : Google 0

8 Dec I get reply with apologies and to contact bank.
I reply saying not a bank issue as card works fine elsewhere.
9 Dec I get email to place new order.
I reply asking if original pricing will be honored.

10 Dec I get reply stating ..
"As per recent policy update, you can make purchases on Google store only if you're physically present along with the debit/credit card issued from the same country. In this case you need to use a US card to make the payment go through"
So looks like international customers can't buy online from the Google store with foreign issued cards even if the order is being delivered within the USA.
"Ok Google" ... I'll stick to Amazon for my online purchases and Alexa as my choice of voice assistant.
