I have gone to this Emergency Department a couple times and have never had an issue before. I went into the Emergency department for chest pain, pounding heart, and back pain. They did a couple of different tests but couldn't find anything wrong. I have had same symptoms before because I have previous heart conditions. I gave suggestions as to what to do because of certain tests that were done in the past to find what was wrong. My suggestions got pushed out the window. I got sent home with pain medications that I can not take because they make me very sick. I am a nurse so I understand how frustrating it is when you can't figure out whats wrong with a patient but I have never heard of anyone getting sent home with chest pain, even if it's nothing. Where I work we have never sent anyone home with chest pain until we figured out what was wrong. My nurse was also not very polite. When asked how to despense meds from the machine I was simply told "I don't know read the directions". I will be getting a second opinion else where. Whether it's a physician or a different emergency department depending on how bad the pain gets.
