Woodland Park Zoo is great in any season. My daughter and I just went on January 1st with our membership. There are plenty of indoor exhibits to see while staying warm and warming up to go back outside. Having a membership is great with a small child because it allows you to go to the zoo any time of the day even if only for a fee hours. There is no thinking that it is too late in the day to spend full admission when the zoo is only open for 2 more hours(thats what we did today).
