Upon arrival to the hotel at 3:00pm our room not ready. The concierge supervisor told us that our room would be ready in 30-45 minutes so we left the hotel and returned after 1 hour- the room still wasn t ready. To compensate for the inconvenience, the supervisor gave us a voucher for a Free drink that we technically paid for (if you go to their website then you will see that each guest gets a complimentary cocktail).
An hour and a half after check-in time we finally get put into a room with torn blinds and broken lamp and wet floors. Consequently we requested a different room. The next room was fine except we were placed in a room with a conjoining door. The only issue I had with that is our neighbor was mentally deranged and he screamed all night and day. I requested another room and the supervisor happily obliged. He said he didn t blame me for not wanting to stay next to him as he is an interesting character. The third room was fine. The staff sent us a cheese and cookie tray and a sweet card for all our troubles. The staff is as nice as can be but housekeeping is terrible. This isn t a luxury hotel by any means but it s not terrible either. Shop around. This wouldn t be my last choice but definitely not my first second or third. Oh by the way, the walls are paper thin and their Uber code for $20 off your first ride is only for $15.
