Mark Coorough Review of Sheraton Gunter Hotel
We arrived at about 11pm with crying children. Whe...
We arrived at about 11pm with crying children. When we went to check in they had no rooms with two queen beds which is what we booked. We had to fit 5 people in a king size room for the night. The hotel lobby was really pretty but there was 3 separate parties waiting to check in with one person working so it took forever. There was no Bell hop on duty and no one offered to help us get to our room. We ordered a roll away bed since we didn't have enough beds and the gentlemen brought it up quickly but had nothing to say but here is your bed and walked away. The king bed smelled like pee but was comfortable . The bathroom had a toilet that was like a public restroom and not a fancy hotel. The toilet paper holder was in the back corner and hard to access. The light in the bathroom was just a bulb and missing a cover. To have the light on in the bathroom you had to have the light on in the hallway too which was not cool when you had kids sleeping in the room. The worst part was that while you were in the shower the water would just shut off or only drip because the water pressure was horrible. I was in the shower with two small children and had to wait 45 seconds for the water to come back on! Food- we had the club access and it was just okay. The eggs were horrible and the potatoes had no flavor. The bacon and drinks were nice. The wine at the bar was good and reasonably priced! The valet was awesome and super friendly but was $32 a day.
