Updating Aug 1st, I was back today to complete the work scheduled for the previous appointment. The work was done completely and correctly. I was given a discount on the work to compensate for the earlier complications. I'm a happy Maxima owner again. Thanks Leith Nissan!
It's always something. 3.5 hours later, I'm leaving with only a oil change & recall service. They didn't have the part to do the scheduled service and they didn't reset the TPMS sensor like they were supposed to. It will be another trip to get the CV joint and boot replaced and reset the tire pressure light.
