Birthday weekend at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San...

Birthday weekend at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego which is conveniently located on the waterfront. After flying into San Diego International Airport we were able to take the trolley (green line) to Seaport exit and walk across the street to the hotel. After a morning flight we wanted to explore the city so we stored our bags at the hotel until we returned. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, however this is a busy convention center hotel and there is always a long line at the check in desk. The room was the usual Hyatt standard but had a very nice view of the waterfront area. We found the coffee pot still had the previous guest's coffee pod in the pot and there was only decaff coffee pods available. We requested regular coffee pods and the housekeeping staff brought it up. We enjoyed the adult only pool located on the 3ed floor. The regular pool is located on the 4th floor next to the gym. It was the weekend and the pool was full to kids jumping in and out. They also have ping pong tables outside. by the pool. The gym is very well done. They have everything you could want in a gym including kettlebells. There is a bike rental at the front of the property and there is a bike path behind the hotel along the waterfront. Great location!
