Kylin the experience that was not just Amazing but A Laziz affair. Being baby of the most reputed brand of the hospitality sector, Holiday Inn, Kylin has truly lived up to the expectations of the Mother brand.
It is an exquisite fine dining In-house Restro that serves you an Amazing variety of Japanese and Pan Asian food like Sushis, Bao, Dimsums, Teppanyaki, Robatayaki Menu straight from the Wok tossed and turned with Flavors and bites.
We went in a group of 4 adults and 2 kids, and it was a pleasurable dining experience. Our Luncheon started with Mocktails: Recommended ones:
We ordered Assortment and miniature tasting platters of Sushis and Dimsums as that's the best heard about for Kylin. In Dimsums we tried their Vegetarian versions comprising of Tofu and veggies, Almond and Broccoli; Snow peas, Mushroom and water chestnuts, Mix veg and lotus stem sui mui. In Non- Vegetarian, we tried their chicken coriander and ginger prawns. Each one of the variant had a peculiar taste and absolutely delicious. One of the best Dimsums we had ever relished.
Famous for their Sushis, their handcrafted Sushi suits Indian taste palate utmost. We had their: Crunchy Yasai Roll, Vegetable Philadelphia Roll, Asparagus Tempura Roll, Quinoa Sushi Roll. In their, Non-vegetarian variant, we tried their Classic Prawns California Roll and Philadelphia Roll.
After tasting their specials, we also ordered few starters. Baby potatoes in crushed pepper were simply lip smacking and tossed in Asian greens.
We also tried their Tossed chicken with bullet chillies, which was an Oriental chilli chicken, but in shredded style.
In Main course, we ordered Chicken stir fried Noodles, which were lightly tossed noodles in Soya, greens, shredded egg and chicken. Also, we tried their Chicken Pan fried Noodles, A hot pot meal of noodles, veggies and chicken in a glazed garlic Soya base. We paired our noodles with all time favorite Kung Pao Chicken in peanut, Thai chilli's and greens. A beautiful velvety textured chicken that complimented the noodles very well. We love sea food, and tried their two best Recommended fish dishes, Steamed River Soul Fish in chilli garlic sauce and veggies.
Another beautiful Flaky Fish was their Basa fish in Teppanyaki Thai sauce. Simply gorgeous, light and mouth melt-in. To add in little more texture, we ordered their Lightly Stir fried Asparagus, snow peas, lotus stem with ginger and scallion, which were really light and delicious.
Green Tea Creme brulee, and The Date Roll with vanilla ice cream were sheer Bliss.
The Kylin experience combined with Holiday Inn hospitality makes them stand tall and apart from the league and you can expect nothing but world class meals, yet at pocket friendly pricing. So, Why to miss the Japanese street food when you have Kylin next door.
