During our Ireland tour we stayed 2 nights at Treacy s West County Hotel in Ennis.

Our room was very spacious, clean, relatively modern and equipped with a large and a small bed and flat screen TV. The room is not air-conditioned and unfortunately has no refrigerator or ice machine in the hallway. The best place to enjoy your cold beer is in one of the city's small pubs. E.g. in Nora Culligans or Knox, approx. 1.5 km from the hotel.

There is direct access from the hotel to Boru s Bar with restaurant / bistro. We had a beer there on the first evening. It's ok, but you better go a few meters into the city.
The hotel has a swimming pool, gym. But we didn't use it.
There is free WiFi.

Breakfast is from the buffet with fruit salad, muesli, toast, wholemeal bread, jam, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, coffee, tea, juice, and water.

The staff is very friendly.
