I started bringing my mom grocery shopping a lot and realized I needed more passenger and trunk space. The 2021 Sante Fe caught my eye. The front is similar to the KONA which I love so much. It looks like a big brother version of the car. I have a Husky so I was definitely looking at the mid trim with leather seat option from the get go.

I wasn t sure what shopping for a car would look like during the pandemic or if the dealership was even open so I shot Spencer an email to check in and let him know what I was looking at and the price point I could work with. As I mentioned in my previous review - I really hate nonsensical drawn out bargaining - so I m always happy that I can be honest with my needs and what I have to work with prior to stepping foot into the dealership. I ve spoken to other dealers before as we often get promotions in the mail, but they always try to get me into the dealership before speaking to me. This is quite narrow minded especially when there are COVID 19 restrictions in place.

We set an appointment and I provided all the info needed and when I arrived Spencer had the two proposals I required ready - and of course a test drive. The dealership was clean and I could visibly see social distancing requirements and mask orders in place. It s a comfort that they take the situation seriously. A short and sweet experience.

For financing I worked with Steven Shin and Lillian. Maybe I m lucky, but I find myself always having great conversations with the reps as they have very positive and welcoming attitudes. The paperwork was very straight forward once I decided on add ons. Follow up questions via email are answered promptly.

I m so glad that the dealer doesn t just drop off the face of the earth after a sale is made. Continuous service makes all the world of difference and that s why I ve always gone back to DVN :) They don t push unnecessary packages onto you for the sake of their bottom line. They care - and to me that s what matters. I should also probably mention that the trade in pricing is fair. You wouldn t need to worry about being ripped off in the process of upgrading your car. Take it from the person who loves shiny new toys and has gone through four cars in the last decade!
