Initially I was reluctant to review out of fear, but I feel that I must say something about my experience and my disappointment at this hospital. I was not happy with the service I received, and I really could not tell when I was being serviced by the doctor because there was very little time spent with me by the doctor, less than a minute. I was misdiagnosed only to be called the next day with the proper diagnosis by a different doctor. My question is, why was my X-ray misread to begin with? In addition, when I had to go back to the hospital to have a splint put on, I was told by the doctor that I would not have to wait again in the emergency room, and why was I taken back to the exam area to wait another four hours (in the meantime a nurse asked if I wanted pain medication and never came back. When I did see her again, she was leaving for the day, and it was her who told me that it was a special splint and that was the reason it was taking so long) just for the young man who took my blood pressure in the admitting office to place a splint on my hand who he commented that he had learned how to do this by watching YouTube videos!?! The doctor was no where to be found and never followed up with me for the proper placement of the splint. This was not my expectation from a hospital such as Georgetown University. I was very disappointed to say the least.
