Surprised at some of the reviews on here. I had a brilliant experience at the MacDonald Berystede hotel; spa was lovely and the ice room, steam room, sauna are all bonuses. I had the most relaxing massage here and one of the best I have experienced. Food was absolutely amazing - breakfast, lunch and dinner all tasted. Afternoon tea was booked and was lovely with generous helpings of treats and sandwiches
