The E.R. Dr. M was rude and condescending. The E.R. nurses were foul, rude, and had poor bedside manner. I believe they broke H.I.P.P.A. law because nurses that weren't assigned to me kept asking why I was there, received the reason and then would leave. Then there is a female transporter, I believe her name is Kady (??) She came to transfer me to Radiology. I mentioned to her that the resident E.R. Dr did not want me to leave my room because my health was unstable. She immediately became irritate and stated that I was refusing treatment in a condescending tone. I politely told her, trying to catch my breath, that I wasn't, just following Dr.s orders. She ripped off her gloves at once then stormed out of the room. She told my nurse that I refused and left the unit. My nurse and I were completely shocked and confused. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional behavior! I was transferred to 4 East (Tele unit). The majority of my nurses needed customer service courses. I had a safety incident that occurred and reported it to two supervisors. It was handled poorly and was not resolved during my stay. I witnessed nurses walking around with gloves on in the hallways. A nurse who came into my room with gloves on after helping another patient. I witnessed an E.R. nurse leave a full vial of Fentanyl in my room and then return to it 15 minutes later. I have had multiple hospitalizations at different facilities and this is by far the worst and disappointing as far as professionalism and integrity goes. Come on CRMC, GET IT TOGETHER! Your employee moral is in dire need!
