Boss Honey Review of Boulder Valley Cat Clinic

I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand they do actually understand cats, they don t treat your cat like a dog as I have experienced at a lot of vets. However, while the staff at the front desk is pleasant and kind the Dr herself is short and borderline rude, bedside manner is completely lacking. That in itself wouldn t be enough to deter me if it weren t almost impossible to actually talk to her outside of her examination of the cat. She will NOT come to the phone to speak with you, they will ask you to email her and she might get back to you in a few days.
The thing that s the most disappointing is they seem to be more interested in parting you with your money and lining their own pockets than actually being there to take care of your pet, if you have thousands and thousands of extra dollars just laying around with nothing to do this is the vet for you. I was charged six times...SIX TIMES!!! The amount I was quoted and completely maxed out my care credit card. I will be paying that single visit for years. Which leads me to the last complaint. While they do accept care credit they don t accept any if the care credit fixed interest plans. They said they can t afford it while charging a minimum of $130 just to look at your cat, then they add on any and every extra charge they possibly can.
In short, they don t care about you unless you re wealthy.
