Majestic building in neo-Gothic style, to the left of the Thames, with more than a thousand rooms. Of the three towers that are seen externally, the most famous is that of the clock, better known as Big Ben. It is the seat of the two chambers of the UK parliament, i.e. the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
