Last fall dishwasher defective. Called local repair company. Electronics was broken. New electronics ordered 389.00. Built in but didn't work. Miele mechanic there, didn't get him talking either. Again ordered new electronics, exchanged and commissioned by a local repair company.
Beginning of March pump defective. Same rep. company involved, new pump ordered 165.00 and installed. The pump appeared to be leaking. Second pump ordered, exchanged and work well so far.
Miele has therefore delivered defective parts up to 2 times. I believe that they must pay for the costs of changing. Due to all this, the repair company has spent 3 1/2 hours extra because Miele has delivered defective parts. I called and emailed with Miele for a reimbursement of these extra hours, but they don't give home. In short, I have to work with the repair company for the extra costs. We have had Miele washing machines / dryers and dishwashers all our lives, but after this bitter experience no more Miele will come into the house.
