I attended the Renaissance Shaumburg Convention Center/Hotel for a Christmas Party. The atmosphere was very welcoming and well kept. The food served during our event was very good except for the first course (Chicken and Rice soup). They seemed to have run out of soup and what I received was mostly rice with a little bit of broth. The venue is very large and can be used for music, dancing and other events for large groups (1000+). I did not stay in the actual hotel so I cannot comment on the overnight amenities. Overall my visit was a good experience.
