Without any doubt this is the best engineering college in India in terms of facilities, faculties,students,alumni and environment.
Situated in Powai area in Mumbai.It was established in 1958 so one can feel the legacy as soon as one enters the campus.
I went there for the TECHFEST(Asia's biggest technical festival).It was awesome to be there at that time.This year their theme was humanoid,previously it was star wars. Each year they come with a new concept and theme.And each time they pull it off. It's been my second consecutive year for the techfest.If you are a tech enthusiast then it's a must visit for all.AI,humanoids,self driving cars,mars rover, hackathons,project showcase,keynote speakers they cover it all.
IITB also organizes MOOD INDIGO,their annual cultural fest which is almost organized around the time of Techfest.If you are a non tech person and interested in dance,music,play,theatre etc. then it's the best place for you.
You can find canteens and food joints in every hostel and also there are many common food points.Food is available till 2AM.
