Hemlock Wilderness Brigade Camp Review

Wonderful Christian wilderness camp. Both my son and daughter love it.

A highly recommended Christian Camp. There are father son programs, dad daughter programs, camps for adventure, for both boys and girls. Marksmanship, go karts, mountain biking, canoeing, rock climbing, caving, aviation, paintball, and leadership training programs. The folks that run this place are full of love.
Check out their website. I can't recommend this place enough. It is very rustic, so don't expect hotel rooms, but that's not the point of being in the woods and going to Camp is it?

I've been going for a few years and it is awsome there are so many fun activities and things to do. from hiking to archery overall its really fun.

The father son camp was a lot of fun, loved every minute of it.

Love it here. Father/daughter camp was wonderful and so is father/son camp.

I have spent a few weeks at this camp and it is a lot of fun to go to. I became very good friends with everyone including the staff very quickly. There are many activities to choose from and is a very great experience and great place to be.

Hemlock is about as close to heaven as you get on this earth. I have been taking my kids there for camp for the last 10 years. Father-son camps starting when my son was 6. Riflery, archery, hiking, rock climbing, swimming, just all kinds of great activities. But the best part is there strong Christian focus. The staff love God and enjoy sharing their experiences with the younger kids. My son went all the way through their SALT program. Now my daughter is old enough for father- daughter camp, and we have just as great a time. I highly recommend the father- son and - daughter camps, but if you can't make it, send your kids to the kids only camps for sure!

I was there at hemlock yesterday. I helped build the bridge and the dining hall ceiling. This camp does not disappoint me mainly because I have gone here with my dad when I was about ten years old. I also did battalion b classes here as well such as, paintball, high and deep, marksmanship, and observer.

Beautiful piece of God's creation where lives are touched and changed in meeting him here

this place is great!!!!
I felt so at home here!
The staff is friendly, the food is good, the camps are fun, and the people there really care about Christ.
only downside is the bugs, heat, and that the beds are not the comfiest, but when you are tired, you will still fall asleep on them.
i had the please of going to camp there 3 times, and working on staff.
would definitely recommend it.
