Small and assuming theater that houses great talent. We saw "Hand to God" at this theater - thought-provoking and humorous script performed by extremely engaging and energetic actors - overall, a marvelous night out! Sign up for the newsletter or membership for specials offers.

This is one of the main venues in NYC to see brand new plays. It's an experimental lab for theater so some of them work and some dont, but if you're looking for something non-conventional & cutting edge check it out.

Small theater creating huge productions. I love the building, quintessential NYC building. We went to go see Behind the Sheet. Excellent play. Truly magnificent. The staff are friendly. I highly recommend getting a reserved seat. One bathroom but clean and roomy. Use of these photos is strictly prohibited unless you have expressed written consent from the owner. 2019

Cute, quaint- but also up two flights of steep stairs!!! I really mention this because there IS an elevator that seems to be always "out of work". For a space that provides so much love, tears, and laughter- I hope they get that elevator working so that EVERYONE is able to enjoy it !

Go to anything at this theater. You will not be disapointed. First class plays written by emerging playwrights performed by a very professional actors! You will have something to think and talk about with your friends and you may well have bragging rights to say "I saw their work before anyone knew who they were." Go, and bring your friends.

This is where you go to see good new work by rising American playwrights. There are several venues within the space. There are readings, events and full productions (sometimes in conjunction with other developmental organizations).
