I bought a new S&W pistol at the Richfield, WI store on Sunday. That evening, when I tried to disassemble & clean the pistol following the instructions given me by the salesman, the barrel slide jammed. I couldn't free the slide so I brought the pistol back to Cabela's the next day. The Group Sales Manager (Anthony B.) refused to help. It was my problem now and I would have to take the pistol to a gunsmith. Cabela's doesn't have a gunsmith even though it has hundreds of firearms in-house. Don't buy firearms from Cabela's. Go to a real gun shop.
