Visited BBG for the first time during the Sakura Matsuri for the cherry blossom festival. More than half the trees were bare and there was no organization at all. The line to purchase tickets was somewhat organized until you reached the ticket window where all hell breaks loose. It was poorly organized and poorly planned since they ran out of programs within the gardens and you had to leave and fight the crowds to receive one outside the front gate. I always heard these botanical gardens were better than the NY botanical garden but I have yet to see how.
