I've been taking my dogs to Metropolitan for over 10 years and have been under the care of several veterinarians there. All have been really wonderful and gave our pets great medical care. Most recently one of my dogs (mixed breed) has been having a problem with excessive allergic reaction to dental plaque which caused numerous sores inside her mouth (CUPS - chronic ulcerative paradental stomatitis ). Dr. Durand in the Dentistry Dept worked with us to diagnose and manage this very painful, chronic immune reaction and brought it under control. My dog now is happy and pain-free. She has morphed into a social and happy dog from her previously sullen self. I'm so pleased and grateful to Dr. Durand's expertise, compassion and patience in working with us.
