A great family winter get-away! Expect to spend a bit, but if you are in the area, it definitely beats plane tickets, lodging and park fees in a warm destination. The entire complex was very clean and well cared-for - no sign of aging or wear. Decor was fun and interesting. Water park was a big hit with the whole family (kids 10 and 12, but a lot for younger kids, too). It was busy without being ridiculous - though definitely recommend getting to the waterslides early if possible. Renting a Cabana was expensive but made for an extra fun perk - great way to spend the entire day at the water park; especially for Dad, who got to watch football. Indoor/outdoor hot tubs we're a blast in the middle of winter and the hot tub bar was great. Service was very friendly though pretty slow throughout all of the restaurants - just be prepared to take your time. Fast food was run-of-the-mill in the water park and amusement park, but really excellent food in the sit down restaurants - highly recommend Double Cut and the breakfast buffet. The Spa was wonderful - very high quality - one of the best hot stone massages I've ever had (thank you Nicole!) and no pricier than you would get at a regular high end spa. Amusement park was fun, though mostly it was an arcade, which was overpriced. We paid for full access wristbands (not including the arcade) for our stay, which was definitely worth it. Laser tag was a lot of fun, with no wait time; ropes course and go-carts were also a hit, though with slightly longer wait times. Most of the rides were geared more towards younger kids. Pay-per-view movie was expensive, but fun for one night. In our four-night stay we didn't even make it to the attached movie theater. Highly recommended for a winter-break getaway!!
