This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. We arrived around 7pm on the first night of our reservation and were told that we didn t request a Non-smoking room and only smoking rooms were available (booked more than 3 months ago). So they rebooked us into a Bungalow room that the customer service rep said was the same cost (lie) for what already paid. The Bungalow was non-smoking, however, when we arrived into our room the temperature was 83 degrees with constant heat pumping into the room. We could not adjust the temperature. We went back to the front desk and they said they were sold out of any other options and that they didn t have any other rooms for us and that there was no air conditioning available in the bungalow rooms but they could give us a fan (fan or not, we cannot sleep in an 83 degree room). So, we had to book with someone else and we lost our reservation and our money. This place is extremely smoky everywhere and we will NEVER even consider this place in the future. Terrible customer service and we lost our money. I seriously can t believe this really happened to us, even with a PAID reservation months in advance. Now staying at Mandalay Bay and this place is clean, beautiful and doesn t reek of cigarette smoke.
