Brilliant staff in mri unit made me feel calm enough to go through with a scan...being claustrophobic, and previously having to stop scans In the past because of panic setting in, I felt well supported and confident enough to complete my scan today. The scanner was a bit wider and shorter than others I've tried too, and going in feet first made a huge difference. Really well looked after today. Thank you especially to the chap who kept his hand on my shoulder for reassurance the whole way through ..he must have a sore arm tonight bless him .I didn't get his name but he's a star. Only downside I've encountered at this hospital is the parking spaces..extremely tight to manoeuvre in both the multi storey and overy flow ones too..lots of folk struggling as well as myself.
