Innovative and Exciting company. They provide international Medical Physics QA software and devices. Nestled in Central Florida, a little gem of awesome and helpful people with a support team that is equal in size to their sales team. They really do put the customer (and end-customer patient) first.

We are moving on from Sun Nuclear. Their policies regarding not "repairing" ten year old 1027 radon monitors is draconian and totally ridiculous. Their customer service was short (glib, flippant) with me on the phone about the whole topic. Specifically we are talking about making calibration adjustments here - not a broken device. Their excuse has been that "parts" are no longer available. I have looked at their newer model 1027-XP and will no longer consider it in the running and we will gladly skip over their booth at tradeshows. I sincerely regret deciding to use their devices years ago when we setup shop.

I have a 1028 Radon monitor that was recently calibrated. When I sent it in for calibration it was functioning properly. Now that I have it back it is no longer functional. I just waited on hold for over 40 minutes to try and talk to someone at Sun Nuclear and finally gave up and left a message. I will update this review if I receive a satisfactory response.

Customer service is lacking. I have two 1030's. One works fine. The other one has a tendency to not start and doesn't always want to sinc up with program to download data without pulling batteries and resetting unit. Called in and apparently this issue "unheard of, but send in for re-calibration and update". Got it back about 2 weeks later with overnight shipping both ways, same problem, to the tune of over $200 with shipping. A followup phone call or email would have been nice. I can't help but question the QA department, or lack there of. I don't see where anyone is responding to the poor feedback accumulating either.

Originally posted 1 star because I was unable to reach customer service during business hours. Edit: I was able to use their website to schedule and pay for my recalibration. I mailed the meter off. I still would have preferred to speak with someone. I called 10 times over 40 minutes and was sent to voicemail boxes each time except for once. Which the person quickly transferred me to someone else's voice mail box. I tried every department, twice. I'm sorry to leave a bad review but your customer service was lacking today. I raised the rating to 4 stars because I understand I'm not the only customer, you may be understaffed, and there are many circumstances unknown.

Excellent customer service and turnaround time. Everytime I call, place an order or even calibration of my 1028's the customer service was great. The people I have delt with have been awesome!!!

Absolutely horrendous experience with these incompetent people. I purchased two of the 1028-XP radon monitors to use in my business. After 2 weeks of waiting for them to arrive, they send me one functioning machine and one defective machine with a power button failure. I send it back and after waiting another 10 days for them to send me a new machine, they send me ANOTHER DEFECTIVE MACHINE! I asked for a refund and was transferred to someone in sales who stated he would overnight me a different model machine (you should have overnighted after I sent back the first defective machine!). I refused and asked for a refund. They sent me a shipping label, I sent the machines back, and now I m waiting 2 weeks for them to process my refund. This whole ordeal with them has wasted 8 weeks of my busy season and I m now being told by them to be patient while they work diligently to resolve this matter. On top of that, they couldn t directly answer my question I had regarding adding a page to their software (turns out you can t). Instead, I purchased the AirThings Corentium Pro which was delivered to me 48 hours after I made the purchase. It s far superior to Sun Nuclear s 1028-XP, it performs far better, and I trust it! In short, spend the extra cash and go with anyone other than Sun Nuclear!

Customer service is poor at best. Paid for calibration, one month later unit stopped working had to pay for repair and calibration. Sent second unit in, cane back without batteries! Good equipment, but service is bad!!!!! Can t ever talk with anyone.
