While test driving a new Equinox, I asked the sale...

While test driving a new Equinox, I asked the salesman if it had the alerts. He looked in the manual and said "yes". After buying it and leaving on a trip the next day and coming back the next week found there were no alerts on the vehicle. I called and was told the salesman did not remember the conversation. The sales manager I spoke with said I didn't ask him if it had add alerts, I asked him why would I ask him the question when the salesman said the vehicle had them. He went on to say I should have read through the papers better. Needless to say they could find a black one with the alerts but I would need to pay another $895.00. I did not want a black vehicle and felt mislead about the sale. I have done business at another Chevrolet Dealership and was always shown how everything worked. It did not happen at Gregg Young and wondered if it was because I was a female. The other dealership told me to bring it in to them and they would show me how everything works on it even though they did not sell it to me. I wish they would have had what I was looking for, but obviously neither did Gregg Young Chevrolet. I found the sales manager to be rude and was mislead about the alerts. My advice shop around elsewhere.
