Front desk staff was fine. Nurses during pre-op were great. I was told I would be monitored in recovery for a couple hours. But once I was in recovery, I was barely awake, forgot where I was, and just generally out of it. That didn t matter to the nurses. Because I was the last surgery of the day, they were ready to go home and told me to start getting dressed. I could barely sit up and my husband was just coming in after having talked to surgeon. Another nurse realized I was struggling and once I was dressed told me to lay in bead a few minutes. She got me sprite and crackers, but once those were done, it was time to go. I m still in shock over this. Not the way to treat patients. They re getting a lot of money for this. They could be more caring.
