Matt knows his plants and is an amazing artist. We are new to the area, don't know the plants very well, so we really just let Matt create and run with the design. We are so happy that we did! He pulled in features and elements that we would not have thought of. The balance of colors and textures are absolutely gorgeous. Our neighbor across the street has already stopped by to thank us for the amazing view. One thing that struck me was that every single employee we met was a polished professional. They were pragmatic yet pleasant to interact with. Next we want to replace the driveway with pavers. I can't imagine working with anyone else but Matt.

Update: I felt the need to add this in as it exemplifies how Matt is a true professional dedicated to the highest quality. We had Matt come by to give us a quote for resurfacing the driveway. While on site, he was looking over the garden his crew installed and identified one plant that was not exactly where he wanted it to be. He talked about how the color and textures would interact with the plants around it, and asked if we would mind if he moved it three feet to the side. So in his nice shoes and khakis, he got a shovel out of his truck and moved the plant. My wife and I were already happy with the work that was performed. There was no value add in what he did beyond ensuring we would be happy with the design for many years to come. So while Lombardo may not be the cheapest option, I've never met a company so dedicated to delivering the highest level of service.
