To Management at Dick Hannah Honda,
I want to take a moment to share with you my experience in your dealership. We have been looking at new vehicles for a while now and it was time to actually drive the vehicles that were in the running. We had a couple different manufacturers in mind including Honda, Toyota, and Hyundai.

While on your lot checking out the Accord and Civic, we were approached by a sharply dressed man who introduced himself as Richard Horne. We were upfront with him saying that we were not going to be purchasing a vehicle today and Richard assured us that he wasn t there to sell us, but as a Honda expert he was willing to help answer questions and get us behind the wheel of a couple of the vehicles to help us make an educated buying decision. From the very beginning Richard proved to be an asset and indeed is very educated on the benefits of being a Honda owner and all the features of both the Accord and Civic. Quickly we found our self behind the wheel of both the Civic and Accord, getting helpful info about all the amazing Honda technology that the vehicle was equipped with, I have to say Honda Sensing is very impressive and we would have overlooked the majority of the features without our newfound assistant.

Richard took what we were expecting to be a painful experience, and actually made it enjoyable. He asked questions about what we were looking for as far as options, and what the vehicle needed to have to say in the running. He encouraged us to use the test drive to really get a feeling for the vehicle and not to hold back because he was in the car with us. Richard also proved to have an amazing sense of humor and didn t skip a beat when we tossed out off the wall questions like, how many bodies would fit in the trunk or how does the Civic compare to a Lambo he wasn t a stuffy, pushy salesman and made it easy to have a relaxed conversation about something as serious as the purchase of a new vehicle.

Not only was he truly listening to what we re telling him, he without our knowledge arranged for a Toyota to be delivered to your lot so we didn t have to make a separate trip to another dealership. To me this says a lot about his desire to truly help, even if that meant he didn t get to sell a Honda.

No slick sales gimmicks, no attempts at manipulative ploys or pressure to purchase, just amazing and accommodating customer service.

Over the next thirty days Richard went above and beyond, responding promptly with the answers to my questions and offered his advice and still was in no way ever pushy or what I would expect from someone that invested so much time and still didn t have a sale.

We ended up purchasing a 2017 Civic Touring, all the pricing was negotiated over the phone and email so when the vehicle arrived on the lot, all we had to do was come sign the paperwork! Unfortunately on the way home we had an issue and the vehicle needed to be returned, Richard arranged for the vehicle to be picked up and was beyond apologetic for the situation and was upset for us that this tarnished our otherwise perfect experience. He took matters into his own hands and had the vehicle back to us early the next morning, as the issue was a simple software update that was completely out of anyone s hands.

I really can't say enough about Richard as our salesman; he was patient, accountable for things out of his control, respectful, honest, and has integrity that shines as bright as the customer service he clearly has passion in delivering. I would highly recommend Dick Hannah Honda and especially Richard Horne to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. He has earned my trust and I don t think that is something that should go unnoticed or unrewarded, this man is a true asset to your company and because of him you have a forever customer!
