We saw Bison, brown bears, moose, boar, wild cats,...

We saw Bison, brown bears, moose, boar, wild cats, red squirrels, beaver... Various birds and many rats. Heard a talk about some of the animals. We mainly wandered around the peaceful woodland sanctuary. One of the enclosures was being built/expanded while we were there. This demonstrated the number of people involved, needed to develop the place, and their commitment to improve the environment. Lovely touches, like 'natural' fencing and bamboo and willow woven structures add to the experience nicely.
There's a sense that you're contributing to genuinely valuable conservation work by visiting so, at half the price of Howletts, it's a fabulous day out.
