Yesterday I went into Kia because you were recommended to me by a friend. I was upfront and honest about my situation and let the salesman know I had no money for a down payment. Upon the first visit he explained if I had $500 down I could drive today. I explained it was not possible at this time so my mother and I left. 15 mins later I get a voicemail and text telling me his manager approved me for a car with no money down. So my mother came back and got me and I drive the 2006 Kia Sendona van that he said I was approved for. We sat there for 1 1/2 hours while I found insurance to be able to drive the van off the lot, my mother paid the insurance with her credit card and all was good and then he hits us with... Well you have a repossession we found and had a figure of $949 down which by the way I had seen already, he crosses that out and says $500 down.. Now my mother had things to do and he let us set there and even got numbers off his computer for insurance for me. He knew the whole time what he was going to do but allowed me and my Mother set there all that time, insurance charged her card and no car. It's was so disrespectful and embarrassing because I was UPFRONT and HONEST!! about my situation and he lied on text voicemail and to our face!!!! Everyone has hard times but we feel he took advantage of us and wasted our time!!!!
