Horrible experience! Honestly, if we could rate this experience as a zero, we would. First and last time going to this port. Came back from the cruise and accidentally left our sons' luggage. We tried to get it and they (security) wouldn t let us back in- even After offering to give our passport and go through the screening again. After an episode of he said she said and 30 minutes later we found out what the process was. Had to wait till everyone was off the ship before we could get his luggage to scan it in. Of course by then, our son was fussing and we Couldn't leave to get food because of the luggage situation. It was such a messy situation. Port everglades has way too many restrictions and needs to revise their process/policies to make things more convenient and accommodating. It was a horrible way to end our cruise and I DO NOT recommend that anyone use this port. Stick to port Canaveral. They are super organized and their process has been smooth for the past two times that we've gone there.
