The reception was not really friendly and helpful, the bar smelled pleasant. Our room was too far away from the main building where the food, reception, lounge was. We had gone too long because our appetite was gone. Not much was invested in the room, nor was the room cleaned on arrival.
Sheets were not changed. Through this I got allergic reactions like itching not because of an allergy but because it was impure. The shower had strange stains on the wall that we could wash off ourselves. The front desk was incompetent and always wanted us to call later because they were busy.
And after several calls, they wanted us to come to you even though it wasn't close. Furthermore, the reception staff showed us overpriced shops, which urged us to go along with them. Their prices were set too high, which they thought up for tourists. Nobody told us that less than 200 meters from the hotel there was a bazaar that sells its products for a reasonable price. We had to find out for ourselves.
Room service staff was very friendly and motivated even if there were some problems, as well as pool and buffet staff. The food was ok except for the restaurants which were very good. The hotel offered numerous excursions (e.g. quad biking and snorkeling), these were well organized. However, photos and videos of the tours were offered too expensive for the quality conditions.
Otherwise pleasant atmosphere.
