Harriman State Park is a beautiful place! Originally owned by the Harriman family, they gave the land to the state so the world could enjoy the beauty which lies there in. Full of pine trees and many small lakes, with the Snake River winding through out, hosting Beautiful trumpeter swans, geese and all sorts of Wildlife. Those who manage Harriman State Park have done a wonderful job in creating activities, whether it be a Moonlight Serenade, Halloween activity, elk bugling, cross country skiing or riding a horse through the property as the owners originally did.
