I have been coming to Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for over 30 years. Both my children were born at Georgetown Hospital which was an amazing experience. However, over the last 5-10 years, there has been a significant degradation in services provided by the nurses and supporting staff at the Department. I have to call 3-4 times to get anyone to respond to my simple requests for prescription refills which were supposed to be done when I came in for a check up and for simple referrals and authorizations to get follow on services. Staff completely ignore messages and phone calls. I've even called and been hung up on several times by staff who appear to not want to be bothered by patients. I will be looking to go elsewhere which is a shame since I have been a patient here for over 30 years. Apparently that doesn't seem to matter to anyone. Loyalty gets you nowhere at Georgetown Hospital.
