I don't like hotels. It's usually not the fault of the hotel itself, but it's just a thing for me. Facilities are always nice and whatever, but what is usually noteworthy (good or bad) is the customer service. Thus, this review is mostly for some unexpected exceptional service from the staff.

Thanks to Emily at the front desk who made my day through the simple act of making my awkward poster-tube easier to carry with some clever arts-and-crafts.

And massive thanks to Rosa for finding my pounamu necklace that was a precious gift from my brother. She and her staff went back into the room and scavenged around a day after I had checked out to locate it and shipped it back free of charge. I received it 4 days later.

Those two simple acts of kindness were more than enough to warrant an 5 star review.
