Was just about to purchase a car when they told me a security system was added in order to lower the dealership's insurance. When I contacted Ford/Lincoln corporate they told me that if the factory wiring failed due to the aftermarket alarm system, Ford/Lincoldn would not cover the wiring and would not cover any component the wiring caused to fail. Holmes Tuttle Ford Lincoln refused to give me a written warranty for the cut wires in the 'New' car. When I asked if they had another car without cut wiring, I was told that every car on their lot has a 'Alarm System' installed for their protection. After I raised this issue, the dealer refused to sell me the car. I would be very wary about any dealer who refuses to warranty their aftermarket work. Especially since they modify every car on their lot.
