I wish I could give zero or negative stars!

I wish I could give zero or negative stars!

I like to write reviews for quite a lot of businesses and almost always the reviews are 5 stars and positive, but I have to write a review for the Fortune Cookie Factory and state what I saw and witnessed with my eyes and ears.

First of all...the owner is the rudest and most disrespectful man I have ever met! He treats his workers like they are his slaves. His workers are elderly Asian women and from what I witnessed, he has no respect for them. The story behind this my daughter did not put her name on the box for her fortune cookie (what you have to do when you make your own) and he started yelling at the elderly woman who worked for him in his language. My daughter said, Sir, you shouldn t yell at her, It was my mistake I didn t write my name on the box. At this point, he did not know she was my daughter because we do have the same skin color.

He then thought he could preceded to raise his voice at my daughter and tell her to mind her own business. He said they were his workers, not hers. He must have thought she was young, but she is 25 and we were there with teachers in SF for a workshop, we both are teachers.

WOW, just wow! His display of total disrespect to women in just a couple minutes leads me to know that he believes women of all ages and races are below him. I was very upset with him and showed it. He did not care or feel remorse what he did because he told us to move on or leave because he had a long line of customers behind us.

I highly discourage having a fortune cookie experience at this business until the owner learns compassion, respect for women, elders, and everyone from all walks of life!
