Rae Anderson Review of APU Campus Life Crew

This review is specifically targeting the inherently discriminatory policies of the Office of Student Employment. I am currently a full-time student, and I work full time. I have been working full time for the last decade in my life, and I'm familiar with the initial employment document process. Most businesses accept scanned, emailed, or digital I-9 documents because they understand that their employees are busy working, raising a family life, or taking care of personal affairs. The businesses, that I've worked under fair policies, don't expect me to deliver documents to where they're centrally located, at my expense. The policy the Office of Student Employment demands--bringing in physical ID documentation--is inherently discriminatory because it is act as a physical obstacle against non-traditional students, but allows ease of traditional undergraduate students to bring in documentation. APU is a traditional evangelical Christian university that services a majority of privileged population, but needs to make changes to their policies so they're not accidentally discriminating against those who aren't as privileged. I will change this review once they change their policies.
