The 2 day mini cruise in January on the hurtigruten with departure from tromso and arrival in kirkenes was truly unforgettable. In kirkenes we booked, always with the same company, the "King Crab Safari". The tour was very pleasant, the guide was really very nice and after a sleigh ride to reach the place and having extracted the crabs from the hole already prepared in the ground (frozen fjord), the usual ritual photos were taken. The tour then ended with an amazing crab meal in a delightful cottage nearby ... VOTE 10 !!
The only drawback was the tour "Northern lights chase by minibus in tromso". I honestly expected better; I was convinced that the guide
as well as happened on other excursions we did for the aurora, he would have driven to get away from tromso where that evening
climatic conditions were unfavorable. Instead we spent practically the whole evening in front of a bonfire in a typical Sami
lavvu chatting with the other members of the group ... disappointing ...
