I really admire Tesla and want to thank you for everything you do. I even hope you join Trump’s team because he needs your brilliance! However, I have a serious issue. I leased a Model 3 and returned it in March 2024 at the Marina Del Rey location in Los Angeles. The car was in pristine condition, with a fresh set of tires worth $1,400 and only 24,000 miles instead of the 30,000 limit. There was just a tiny scratch on the hubcap. I’ve leased Mercedes and other luxury cars before, and I’ve never been charged extra fees like this, despite always returning my vehicles in perfect condition. I already paid the $350 return fee. Yet, Tesla is demanding an additional $186.15 and has even sent my account to collections. This is absurd given the low mileage and new tires. I kindly ask you to waive this $186.15 charge immediately. In all my previous leases, I was never charged a single cent extra, and my cars always looked brand new. This feels unreasonable.
